We would like to invite you to the “Refugees and Social Acceptance in Turkey Joint Workshop” organized by Earth is Home International Solidarity Association, TED University, and Friedrich Ebert Foundation, on 23-24 February 2019; in the context of the international migration and the experiences related to living in a harmony; with the aim of producing new ideas and thinking about together.
Even though the international migrants have been taking a small place in the world population, far beyond their population, it is clearly seen that they have social, economic, cultural and political importance to a great extent. This importance can be considered with its ability to reshape social, economic, demographic dynamics, by integrating them into ethnic and cultural diversity. In the workshop aiming to comprise all the migrants which are considered under the statutes of refugee, asylum seeker, and temporary protection; we would like to negotiate on the potentials of living together in harmony within the context of social cohesion, employment, media and law.
We are looking forward to meeting up with you in this workshop and desiring that Social scientists from various disciplines, representatives from state and civil society institutions to share their experiences by coming together.
